10 Things I have learnt about myself as a learner and an individual . ..
1). I tend to work best in a studio space where there are little distractions.
2). I find looking at other illustrators work both inspiring and influential on my own work.
3). I work very slowly
4). When I'm finding work difficult, it is useful for me to step back from it and to think before continuing.
5). I work better at night
6). As an individual I constantly compare myself to others
7). --> As a learner I find comparing myself to others also influences and drives me to work harder
8). I need sufficient sleep to be able to work properly
9). I find that taking the time out to do other things besides uni work tends to motivate me more and inspire and influence my work more.
10). I work best in a nice, quiet environment ( for example my attic room at home).

1). I constantly compare my work to others around me2). I perhaps dabble and experiment with unknown processes when I should just exhaust the ones I already know and am good at.
3). I appreciate detail in work.
4). I don't appreciate and cant really follow comics.
5). I find it easiest when working from a reference
6). I work best from photos I have taken myself or of images from books rather than the internet.
7). I draw inspiration from my own interests and surroundings rather than completely random things
8). I like the concepts of pattern and repetition in work
9). I would like to explore printing more
10). My best work is the simplest and from the simplest reference.
