5 Reasons I chose to study on this programme. .
- To go to a completely new city and environment than to what I am used to.
-For the facilities that are available to me and the opportunity to be in a professional environment.
- Because the tutors seemed enthusiastic and knowledgeable
- Because I wanted to expand my knowledge and expose myself to other ways of working

-New processes of making images

Defining Illustration. . . .
We were asked to write down everything that was illustration to us , be its processes, mediums or contexts . We were then asked to narrow this long list down to 5 subsections , my groups were. . .
Communication:Communication is the overriding concept behind Illustration as they are essentially images that have a purpose and so the different elements of the image have to communicate its purpose. This can be done through the images compositions, subject matter, use of colour, scale and any typography and text included.

Commercial Illustration:
Commercial Illustration encompasses how illustrative designs or images are used to communicate not so much a moral or a message but more a product or a concepts behind a company. This can be seen in the fields of marketing and advertisement as well as the branding of a company or areas such as the music, film and fashion industries.
